There are two groups of EXAIR products that should not be used around flammable materials – the conveying products and the static eliminators. The Line Vac, Reversible Drum Vac, Chip Vac, Heavy Duty Dry Vac, Heavy Duty HEPA Vac, Vac-u-Gun and Chip Trapper conveying products all have the potential to produce a static charge caused by the material being transported. High voltage technology is used by all the static eliminating products to eliminate a static charge. There is the possibility that the high voltage emitter points could produce a spark.
