In most cases, poor performance can be attributed to restrictive air lines, fittings, quick connects or insufficient air supply. The system pressure may be at 6.9 BAR (100 PSIG), but pressure at the product will be a lot lower if it’s being starved for air. The installation and maintenance guide that came with the product will give you the correct air line sizes.
A good way to test is by installing a pressure gauge at the inlet of the product and then check the static pressure (with the product off) against the dynamic pressure (with the product running). Any large pressure drop indicates improperly sized air lines, a restriction in the line or the compressor doesn’t have the capacity to supply the volume of compressed air needed.
If the dynamic air pressure is within the operating range of the product, then check the product for dirt and contamination. If the nozzle(s) plug up, the product will not operate properly.
