How are Vortex Tubes rated?
Vortex Tubes are rated in Btu/hr. based on 6.9 BAR (100 PSIG) inlet pressure at 20°C (68°F). Any deviation of pressure or temperature will affect the rating of the Vortex Tube. To calculate the effects of temperature and/or pressure deviations on the Vortex Tube’s rating, contact us for application support.
