New Chip Vac Filter Bag Delivers Enhanced Filtration & Greater Durability

EXAIR has released the latest upgrade to its popular Chip Vac system – a new, high-performance filter bag designed to offer improved filtration, increased durability, and cleaner operation for industrial environments.

The EXAIR Chip Vac, widely used for efficient cleanup of metal, wood, and plastic chips, now incorporates an upgraded filter bag made from a singed polyester fabric. This new material delivers a higher level of filtration while withstanding the tough conditions commonly found in workshops and manufacturing facilities. It also helps ensure that dust and debris remain securely contained, preventing them from re-entering the workspace. The Chip Vac is ideal for use with CNC machines, mills, lathes, routers, and similar equipment.

Engineered for optimal performance, the new filter bag provides enhanced filtration, reduced dust release, and greater overall durability. With a permeability of 50–70 CFM, the material offers excellent breathability while efficiently capturing dust and minimising clogging. Its lightweight yet robust construction adds strength and resists tearing, while the soft-to-the-touch finish delivers a refined feel without compromising toughness. Rated to filter particles as small as 30 microns, the bag is purpose-built for demanding filtration applications.

This improved filter material not only elevates the performance of the Chip Vac but has also been incorporated into other EXAIR products we supply, including the Vac-u-Gun Filter Bag and Drum Covers.
