New Large Internal Mix Spray Nozzles Coat, Cool, Treat and Paint

EXAIR's new 1/2 NPT Internal Mix Atomizing Spray Nozzles atomize fluids in a range of spray patterns and liquid volumes for a variety of uses. They combine liquid and compressed air inside of the air cap to produce the finest mist of atomized liquid that can be easily adjusted to meet the needs of your application. These 1/2 NPT spray nozzles provide high liquid flows up to 1147 LPH (303 GPH) and are available with multiple spray patterns including narrow angle round, wide angle round and flat fan.

With EXAIR’s Atomizing Nozzles, you can coat, cool, treat and paint a variety of products using compressed air and liquids with a viscosity of up to 300 centipoise. Used with water, atomizing nozzles are an efficient way to evenly cool hot items in your automated process. They are also commonly used with light oils, rust inhibitors, chemicals, paints and dyes.

Back Blow Air Nozzle For Cleaning Inside Diameters

EXAIR’s new ¼” Back Blow Air Nozzle has been designed to effectively blow debris and liquids from pipe or hose inside diameters, channel, bores, holes, internal threads and other internal part features. An array of holes provides a forceful 360 degree airflow to clear out coolant, chips and light oils from machining processes. This nozzle prevents blowing chips further into a part, tube or pipe and eliminates any safety hazard created by blowing debris out the far end of a pipe or tube.

The Model 1006SS Back Blow Air Nozzle is manufactured with a small profile and will fit inside openings as small as 7/8″ and is effective on diameters up to 4″. It is constructed of type 316 stainless steel to provide durability and superior resistance to corrosion. Installation is simplified and a secure fit is assured with 5/8″ flats milled on the body. Since airflow is directed back toward the operator, personal protective equipment is recommended. Chip shields to protect the operator from the exiting debris are available. Extension pipes from 6″ to 72″ are offered to provide necessary reach for longer tube and pipe clean out.

Sound level is low at 80 dBA and meets OSHA noise requirement 29 CFR 1910.95(a), as well as being CE compliant.

Threaded Line Vac Turns Pipe Into a Conveyor

Line vac air powered conveyerEXAIR’s new aluminium 3/8” NPT and 1/2 NPT Threaded Line Vac™ Air Operated Conveyors convert ordinary pipe into a powerful conveying system for parts, scrap, trim and other bulk materials. Their small size makes them perfect for fitting in the cramped spaces and tight confines of many production lines. The Threaded Line Vac is designed to attach to plumbing pipe couplers, making it easy to build a complete system using ordinary pipe and fittings available from any home centre, hardware store or plumbers supply. These new sizes of Threaded Line Vac Air Operated Conveyors make it easy to move small parts, a small quantity of material or gases and transport scrap or product out of small spaces.

 

Threaded Line Vac Conveyors eject a small amount of compressed air to produce a vacuum on one end with high output flows on the other. Response is instantaneous. Regulating the compressed air pressure provides infinite control of the conveying rate. Applications include scrap trim removal, material conveying, part transfer, fiber tensioning, filling operations and sampling.

Life Saving HOSEGUARD® Protects Employees and Machinery

Protect your most important assets: Your employees, machinery and equipment! Protect-Air HoseGuard® Safety Fuses offer simple and efficient protection to pneumatic systems in the event of a broken compressed air hose or pipe.

The air supply is immediately shut off by the HoseGuard® should the volume of air exceed a set value. This "value" is factory set to allow normal air consumption when using air tools. Should the air consumption exceed the set value (that would happen when a compressed air line is severed), an internal piston instantly shuts off the main flow. An integral bleed hole allows some air to flow through. This enables the line pressure to automatically reset the HoseGuard® once the main break is repaired.

NEW PRODUCT: Protect Electronics From Heat With Digital Control

EXAIR's digital ETC (Electronic Temperature Control) is now available for Dual Cabinet Cooler® Systems installed on large or high heat load enclosures. An ETC Dual Cabinet Cooler system will keep electrical enclosures cool while minimizing compressed air use. Systems produce -7°C (20°F) air to eliminate high temperature malfunctions and protect sensitive electronics from harsh environments. They are available in cooling capacities up to 5,600 Btu/Hr.

Available from Compressed Air Australia, the ETC accurately maintains a constant temperature in the electrical enclosure that is slightly under the maximum rating of the electronics. It permits just enough cooling for the electronics without going so cold as to waste compressed air. A digital LED readout displays the temperature of the electrical enclosure (°C or °F), then displays the user temperature setting when pressing the “push to set” button. When that setting is exceeded, the Cabinet Cooler System is activated.

The ETC is suitable for NEMA 4, 4X and 12 environments and works with our UL listed Dual Cabinet Cooler Systems which are available with cooling capacities of 4,000, 4,800 and 5,600 Btu/Hr. Cabinet Cooler Systems include an automatic drain filter separator to keep moisture in the compressed air out of the enclosure. The ETC is offered for 120 VAC or 240 VAC and lower cooling capacity Cabinet Cooler Systems are available.  All products are CE compliant.

Heavy Duty Dry Vacs Are Now CE Compliant

Independent laboratory tests now certify that EXAIR’s Heavy Duty Dry Vac™ meets the rigorous safety, health and environmental standards of the European Union that are required to attain the CE mark. 

 The Heavy Duty Dry Vac is a rugged, industrial duty vacuum cleaner that has been engineered to vacuum high volumes of dry materials in less time than ordinary vacs. The wear resistant design is suitable for the clean-up of abrasive materials like steel shot, garnet, metal chips and sand, yet can also be used for general purpose applications.

 EXAIR’s Heavy Duty Dry Vac is compressed air powered and attaches to a 205L open-top drum. It is extremely quiet at 82dBA (half the noise of electric vacs), making it suitable for a wide variety of applications. Surrounding air is kept clean by the filter bag that traps particles when vacuuming dusty materials. There are no motors and impellers to clog or wear out assuring long life and maintenance free operation. It is covered by a five year warranty.

New No Drip Siphon Fed Atomizing Nozzles Positively Stop Liquid Flow

Siphon Fed Atomizing Spray Nozzles require no liquid pressure and can be used with gravity fed liquids or lift liquids from a siphon height as much as 36 inches (91cm). Siphon fed nozzles can be used on liquids up to 200 centipoise.

The new No Drip Siphon Fed Atomizing Spray Nozzles work in the same way our standard atomizing nozzles do, but have the added benefit of positively stopping liquid flow when compressed air is shut off. When spraying any type of liquid, post-spray liquid flow can cause big problems. Unwanted drips can ruin product function on sealing or mating surfaces. Drips can also ruin the appearance of painted or coated finishes. In addition, excess liquid flow wastes precious resources such as expensive coatings, chemicals or water. EXAIR’s No Drip Atomizing Nozzles are ideal where no post-spray drip is permissible. When the compressed air supply is shut off, the no drip nozzle positively seals off the flow of liquid eliminating the possibility of drips.

EXAIR has expanded Long Super Ion Air Knives to a range from 60″ (1524mm) through a maximum length of 108" (2743mm). All knives 60" (1524mm) and longer are now made in a one-piece construction. New one-piece construction ensures seamless airflow and eliminates coupling multiple short length air knives together. One-piece construction decreases overall height by ½″ making it better for tight spaces. New High Power Stainless Steel Flat Super Air Nozzle™ Saves Space and Money, Resists Corrosion and High Temperatures

EXAIR's new 1" High Power Stainless Steel Flat Super Air Nozzle produces a flat 1" (25mm) wide airstream with a strong blowing force of 462g when mounted 12" (305mm) from the target. The unique design of this super-efficient nozzle makes it an ideal fit for both tight spaces and tight budgets. The Type 316 stainless steel construction is suitable for corrosive, high temperature, food, pharmaceutical, and chemical environments.

The 1" High Power Stainless Steel Flat Super Air Nozzle uses EXAIR's patented technology to maximise entrained airflow while reducing noise levels. A precise amount of compressed air is released through the 0.64mm air gap opening that is set with a stainless steel shim positioned between the body and removable cap. The airstream pulls in surrounding room air to produce a forceful stream of high velocity, laminar airflow. Air consumption is 17.5 SCFM (495 SLPM) at 80 PSIG. It meets OSHA dead end pressure standard CFR 1910.242(b). Sound level is very low at 82 dBA which meets OSHA noise exposure standard 29 CFR 1910.95(a), and it is CE compliant. Force and flow may be easily adjusted by installing different shim thicknesses. Optional swivel fittings and Stay Set Flexible Hoses to aim the nozzle are also available.
