Generally, the Line Vac should be placed within 1 metre, or closer if possible, of the suction point. It’s always easier to blow material through a pipe or hose than it is to vacuum it through. Bear in mind that this is a guideline only. If it’s not possible to get the Line Vac that close, then place it as close as possible to the suction point.
